Charli XCX Drops New Single "claws" off Her Forthcoming Album 'how i’m feeling now'

Her quarantine album drops on May 15.

Charli XCX has just released a new single titled “claws,” which is part of her upcoming album how i’m feeling now – debuting on May 15. Earlier this month, the English artist announced that she will be writing, recording and producing her latest project in self-isolation.

Produced by Dylan Brady of 100 gecs, the new track features a blend of genres including pop, hip hop, electronica and trance. The lyrics explore the feeling of being close to the one you love everyday and “captures the manic jubilation of love in lockdown in a refreshing way,” according to a press release. Coinciding with the release, Charli has tapped artists Timothy Luke, Naked Cherry and Sara Cwynar to create three new artworks for “claws,” which you can have a look at in the posts below.
