Google Maps' Latest Update Shows Restaurants Open for Takeout and Delivery

Support your local businesses.

Responding to myriad restaurant closures amid the coronavirus pandemic, Google Maps has introduced a new feature highlighting eateries still open for takeout and delivery. After tapping the screen once, users can pull up a list of operating restaurants. Google Maps’ new update, which makes supporting local businesses simpler, is available in the U.S., Canada and France. Other regions may be added shortly.
