Maison Margiela has updated the iconic Tabi boot for Fall/Winter 2020, introducing new takes on the cleft-toe shoe for the upcoming season.
The classic Tabi ankle boot arrives in black and cream plaid complemented by a houndstooth-wrapped heel. The instantly recognizable shoe is also rendered in solid black with white paint detailing at the upper and heel. A higher-heeled Tabi boot with elastic vents at the throat is constructed of brown snakeskin-print leather while a low-cut version takes a brighter approach in red. Undoubtedly the most eye-catching of the bunch, a Tabi mule in furry leopard print is sure to become a coveted style. Several loafers round out the new release — two with a built-in leather “sock” and one without — keep it classic in black and white.
