Yoon Ahn Announces Two More Colorways Are on the Way for the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High
“I promise you it’s gonna be worth the wait.”
Back in February, Nike unveiled its Summer 2020 collaborations with some of the fashion industry’s biggest names such as Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH, Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™, Jun Takahashi of Undercover, Chitose Abe of sacai and Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM. During the Swoosh brand’s Future Sport Forum for New York Fashion Week, each designer revealed their latest collections accompanied by a footwear creation.
In addition to AMBUSH’s range, Yoon took to Instagram to announce that the Tokyo-based label is working on two more colorways for its collaborative Dunk High silhouette with Nike. As previously seen on the runway, the current iteration boasts a tonal pink premium leather upper featuring hits of fuchsia tones. One detail that stands out is the oversized plastic Swoosh logo that extends past the pair’s heel. AMBUSH’s co-founder posted a rough sketch of the colorless sneaker with the caption: “The launch is a bit delayed due to the current situation, but I promise you it’s gonna be worth the wait.”
Stay tuned while we wait for the official launch date and pricing details of the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High. In the meantime, did you hear that Nike’s Blazer Mid “Sketch” is up for grabs again?
