UPDATE: Nike's Blazer Mid "Sketch" Is Up for Grabs Again

Here’s to praying for the same with the Air Force 1 style.

UPDATE (May 15, 2020): Following a late winter release, Nike‘s Blazer Mid “Sketch” is re-releasing at stockists such as Aphrodite.

Like its name suggests, sketches cover the shoe in the form of a Swoosh (both lateral and medial sides) and on the tongue. Odes to its vintage 1977 heritage is scribbled near the toe, in a manner not unlike that a friend would write on a yearbook page.

Head to the Aphrodite website to grab a pair, priced out at £89 GBP (approx. $110 USD).

ORIGINAL STORY (February 20, 2020): Nike has unveiled new iterations to the Air Force 1 and Blazer Mid arriving in scribbled styling, similar to the previous Tinker Hatfield-inspired Air Max 1 “Sketch to Shelf.” Both styles feature the same “Sketch” Swoosh along with its own unique details.

The AF1 and Blazer Mid sport a chalk-white upper while the sketches come in a rich black hue to ensure maximum contrast. “Nike” appears to be outlined on both of the pairs’ heels that slightly fade away towards the end for a more DIY look. The tongues are also equipped with the brand’s logo which has been hand-drawn in black. Distinct features of the AF1 include a tiny “Air Force 1” and “1982” texts found on the lateral, while the Blazer sports beige suede accents throughout and “1977” scribbled on the forefoot.

The Nike Air Force 1 retails for $110 USD and Blazer Mid is priced at $100 USD which are set to drop in the coming weeks at online retailers like Noir Fonce. For more Nike-related news, don’t forget to check out the latest Shox TL Nova silhouette in “Barely Grape.”
