The label commits to providing support to education, social justice and racial equality organizations over the next 10 years.

Following Michael Jordan‘s previous statement on his support for the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement, Jordan Brand has released an official statement detailing the brand’s commitment to $100,000,000 USD in donations over the next 10 years.

“Black lives matter. This isn’t a controversial statement. Until the ingrained racism that allows our country’s institutions to fail is completely eradicated, we will remain committed to protecting and improving the lives of Black people,” reads the post, adding that the money will be spread across organizations dedicated to ensuring racial equality, social justice and greater access to education.
