Under Armour Designs Reusable Face Mask for Exercising

Workout gear that addresses COVID-19 concerns.

As countries around the world begin to lift COVID-19 lockdown measures, sportswear brand Under Armour has unveiled a face mask design that will help keep athletes safe when they resume training.

Named the UA SPORTSMASK, the company’s latest innovation is reusable and water-resistant. The mask, arriving in a black colorway, features a three-layer model: a light spacer fabric that has air pockets for structure, a breathable middle layer made of open-cell foam (effective in preventing moisture and sweat to pass), and a third layer engineered with UA’s Iso-Chill technology. The cooling Iso-Chill fabric is treated with PROTX2™, an anti-microbial technology that inhibits growth of bacteria on the mask. Lastly, stretchy ear loops and side panels offer a snug and comfortable fit.

Priced at $30 USD, the UA SPORTSMASK can be purchased online at Under Armour’s website. Choose from four size offerings: SM/MD, MD/LG, LG/XL and XL/XXL.
