An emerging artist based in the UK, Cat Burns has now released her latest single titled “Go.” The drop follows an acoustic version that was previously revealed on TikTok.
Like many musicians, Burns has been able to utilize the video-sharing app as a stepping stone for her career. Having initially joined the social media platform out of boredom during quarantine, the creative now boasts over 500,000 followers. After the initial reveal on TikTok, the artist has featured in an Instagram Live session with H.E.R., where the two sang “Go” together. The new single begins with a calm yet catchy guitar sequence, which accompanies Burns’ heartfelt lyrics. The musician then continues the conversation-like song, which illustrates the end of a relationship: “Pack up your sh*t and go.”
