Sustainable Beauty Label Haeckels Launches Grown-To-Order Skincare
Featuring a compostable, zero-waste eye mask.
As the beauty industry continues to develop new ways to make the market more sustainable, Haeckels has now launched skincare products made with new grown-to-order technology. The first item introduced to the line is a set of eye masks.
The Bio Restore Membrane is made using agar cultivated from the cell walls of seaweed. Over a span of three weeks, the ingredient is grown and infused with Haeckels’ nourishing and hydrating formula derived from the ocean. In order to activate the eye mask, customers simply need to add water to the product in a provided petri dish. The 10-minute treatment adds a plumping effect to the skin around the eyes, helping with getting rid of dark circles and reducing sun damage. Completely compostable with zero plastic and zero waste, the Bio Restore Membrane contributes to the natural and eco-friendly skincare market.
Take a look at Haeckels’ grown-to-order eye masks above. An 18-piece set of the Bio Restore Membrane is available over at the label’s web store for £32 GBP (approximately $42 USD).
