Featuring personal lyrics written in quarantine.
UPDATE (July 30, 2020): After much anticipation, Billie Eilish has finally dropped her latest track titled “my future.” The new single follows a theme song the artist wrote for the upcoming film James Bond: No Time To Die.
In the accompanying music video, an animated figure of Eilish is pictured walking through a forest. The scene begins with gloomy, rainy weather followed by a bright sunrise, seemingly representing the artist’s promising future. According to an email the 18-year-old sent to her fans, the lyrics, written in quarantine, connect with the musician on a very personal level and highlight “self-reflection and self-growth.”

ORIGINAL STORY (July 26, 2020): Billie Eilish is releasing a new song titled “my future.” The 18-year-old artist took to Twitter and Instagram to announce the track on Friday.
The new music, which is slated to arrive on streaming platforms on July 30, will follow the singer’s James Bond theme song “No Time To Die” and her 2019 hit single “everything i wanted.”
Shortly after hitting the road for her WHERE DO WE GO? world tour in early March, Eilish had to postpone her remaining concerts due to the coronavirus outbreak. During this time in lockdown, the multiple Grammy winner performed in online charity events alongside her brother Finneas to support frontline healthcare workers, as well as small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In May, Eilish and her father launched a radio program on Apple Music named me & my dad radio, serving as co-DJs on the show. In the same month, she released a limited-edition range of T-shirts with Japanese retailer UNIQLO UT, featuring graphics created in collaboration with Takashi Murakami.
In addition to these projects, the artist has an Apple TV+ documentary in the works. A release date for the film has yet to be announced.
