Nanushka Explores the Relationship Between Humanity & Nature for Resort 2021
Relaxed silhouettes are accompanied by earthy hues.
After revealing a grunge-inspired Fall/Winter 2020 collection earlier this year, celebrity-favorite label Nanushka is now welcoming the Resort 2021 season by starting a conversation on the power of nature and its effect on humans. Featuring both womenswear and menswear, the lookbook presents a lineup of neutral and earthy-toned garments shot at the beach.
Titled “Human/Nature,” the first installment of the range is a further exploration of Nanushka’s inspiration from nature and its colors and textures. Rustic looks created from organic shapes are seen throughout the collection, which features cut-out tops and dresses, laid-back suiting and more. The label’s creative director Sandra Sandor ensures that the key message of the collection is also reflected through the choice of fabric, from 100 percent recycled mesh jersey and FSC-certified satin, to organic cotton, regenerated leather and repurposed faux fur.
Key looks from the collection include jackets with padded shoulder detailing for an oversized look, along with matching shorts that complete a relaxed feel. The label also showcases its signature faux leather pieces in the form of a trench coat. Nanushka-branded scarves are used to accentuate the soft, neutral outfits.
