The shoes are part of a collaborative capsule featuring tees, sweatshirts and more.
UPDATE (August 12, 2020): Following a sneak peek from Jeff Staple, Chinatown Market has provided an official look at its partnership with Grateful Dead and Crocs. In addition to the clogs, the American band and LA-based label will be dropping co-branded apparel and accessories.
For their latest collaboration, Chinatown Market and Warner Music Artist Services tapped Crocs to highlight comfort and relaxation. As teased previously, the shoes arrive in rainbow tie-dye along with Jibbitz charms for personalization. Additional tees, sweatshirts, flasks and more are also slated to arrive as part of the collection. Although not much on the rest of the range has been revealed just yet, we can expect the items to follow a similar tie-dye theme throughout.
The Grateful Dead x Chinatown Market capsule is scheduled to drop on August 14 exclusively at the streetwear brand’s web store. Priced at $59.99 USD, the clogs will be seeing a further release via Crocs’ website starting September 2.
ORIGINAL STORY (August 10, 2020): Following a sustainable partnership with Nicole McLaughlin and Allbirds, Chinatown Market has now teamed up with American rock band Grateful Dead for a pair of rainbow-colored Crocs. Receiving bold tie-dye treatment throughout, the statement footwear is perfect for quarantine days.
Revealed by Jeff Staple via Instagram, the upcoming clogs are dressed in splashes of black, yellow, red, orange and blue on the upper and ankle strap. Special Jibbitz charms arrive in the shape of Grateful Dead’s iconic dancing bears motif, as well as rock climbing holds. The design is rounded off with the rock band and Chinatown Market’s collaborative branding printed atop the white footbed.
Not much information on the Grateful Dead x Chinatown Market Crocs have been revealed just yet, but keep your eyes peeled for an official release date.
