Jordan Brand Women's Latest Apparel Collection Embodies the Spirit of New York City
Three NYC-based creatives showcase their personal style in the range’s lookbook.
After unveiling three collections last month, Jordan Brand is set to release another capsule for women this week. Featuring three New York City-based creatives – Kia Marie, Alissa Nevita and Germany Lancaster – the latest range is influenced by the fast-paced lifestyle and energy of the Big Apple.
Shot by Bronx-born photographer Raven B. Varona, Marie, Nevita and Lancaster showcase their individual styles and personalities in the line’s lookbook. “It was my first time shooting in four months, so it was really nice to photograph all women,” Varona said in an interview. “It’s cool to see how everybody’s style is completely different, and how they looked in the collection, in their environment.”
The capsule consists of a dress, long-sleeve top, windbreaker, full-zip fleece hoodie, short-sleeve fleece top, shorts, utility pants and a flight suit, which all sport a vibrant color palette inspired by the city that never sleeps. One of the hero designs includes the reflective Jordan “infographics” that are reminiscent of the font used in NYC’s subway system. Peep the entire lookbook in the gallery above.
Jordan Brand Women’s “NYC” collection will be available throughout Greater China on August 15 and August 20 in North America. The rest of the world will receive a later release date of August 24 online and at select retailers.
