Miley Cyrus Releases New Track, "Midnight Sky," and Self-Directed Music Video

Watch the disco-inspired visual here.

Miley Cyrus has debuted a new single and music video, her first solo visual since 2019. “Midnight Sky,” a disco-country-pop tune, is set to a neon-tinged video that Cyrus self-directed.

Clad in a series of shiny looks by Chanel, Gucci and Saint Laurent, Cyrus performs against a series of backdrops including a mirrored room, ball pit and confetti-filled dance floor. Sporting a bleached blonde mullet and shiny lavender makeup, the star effortlessly channels the ’80s — in fact, the song samples Stevie Nicks’ 1981 single “Edge of Seventeen.”
