Y-3 Reveals First Drop From FW20 Collection
Inspired by archery and running.
Y-3 has dropped the first chapter of its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, drawing from the aesthetics of two sports: archery and urban running.
Outerwear including a trench coat, parka and cape feature buckle and harness detailing, a nod to traditional archery equipment. Two jackets are printed with cityscape-like graphics by Japanese artist Suzume Uchida, who previously collaborated with Yohji Yamamoto on his Spring/Summer 2020 menswear collection. Tapered trousers and logo caps further reference the futuristic look of sporting apparel. Several new sneakers, including the platform HICHO, all-leather YUBEN LOW and chunky SUKUI II offer a range of silhouettes.
Y-3’s first FW20 drop is available now at the adidas website.
