NYC Label A–Company's "Collection V: Blue Jeans" Lookbook Honors the City's Community
Featuring portraits of the founder’s friends and people who she admires.
Founded in 2018 by Sara Lopez, A–Company is a conceptual clothing brand based in New York City that seeks to “disrupt our engagement with the everyday.” With the goal to prompt its customers to become introspective, Lopez’s label features a selection of pieces that arrive in functional designs and styles.
For her latest collection, the designer was inspired by a painter’s work uniform who was dressed entirely in blue. According to a press release, there was an immediate understanding and kinship when Lopez met them as “she trusts people who hold this value to blue.” The range consists of jackets, shirts and pants that boast different tones of blue, which have been constructed with immense detail.
