Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion Drop Steamy Music Video For "WAP"

Guest starring Normani, Rosalía and more.

UPDATE (August 7, 2020): Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have officially dropped their collaborative single “WAP” after teasing it earlier this week on Instagram. For those who have been trying to figure out the meaning of the title, “WAP” stands for “Wet Ass Pu**y.” The “I Like It” artist kicks off the track by rapping: “I said certified freak, seven days a week/Wet ass pu**y, make that pull out game weak.” The “Savage” rapper follows up and spits her own bars in the second verse: “Gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me/Quick jump out, before you let you get inside of me.”

This marks Cardi B’s first original release of the year and Megan’s second project after her Suga album. Watch the steamy music video directed by Collin Tilley starring Normani, Rosalía and Kylie Jenner above and listen to the track down below.

ORIGINAL STORY (August 3, 2020): Back in May, Megan Thee Stallion released a remix of her track “Savage” featuring Beyoncé. The collaborative project earned the top spot on Billboard‘s Hot 100 list and turned into a viral TikTok dance shortly after its debut. Now, the rapper has announced via Instagram that she will be releasing a new single dubbed “WAP” with none other than Cardi B. Her caption reads: “@iamcardib and The Hot Girl Coach this Friday !!!”

Despite her traumatic incident last month, the “Hot Girl Summer” artist is back and ready to make more music for her fans. Be sure to keep a lookout for “WAP” as it is set to drop on August 7 on all streaming platforms.
