A24 Shares First Trailer for 'Minari'

The Korean-English film stars Steven Yeun.

The first trailer for Minari, the next feature from buzzy indie film studio A24, is here.

Starring Steven Yeun of The Walking Dead, the movie oscillates between English and subtitled Korean. Set in the ’80s, the plot follows a Korean American family as they move to a farm in Arkansas in pursuit of a better life. Yeun plays father Jacob Yi alongside Han Ye-ri as Monica Yi, the mother of the family, and Youn Yuh-jung as loving grandmother Soon-ja.

Minari, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, releases soon. Check out the trailer above and stay tuned for an official premiere date.
