Molly Goddard Unveils UGG Collaboration at SS21 Show
Including slippers and sky-high platforms.
Just days after announcing a collaboration with Telfar, UGG revealed its next creative partnership, this time with British designer Molly Goddard. Unveiled at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021, UGG’s sheepskin footwear is updated with Goddard’s playful, maximalist aesthetic.
Arriving in sea-foam green and burgundy colorways, the Molly Goddard x UGG slipper is a fluffy, flat-soled style made of curly lamb hair. A closed-toe mule features an exaggerated platform heel and a final third style, a boot, applies floral appliqués to UGG’s hero shoe. “We wanted to make something bold and colorful, to play with the UGG DNA,” Goddard said. “The outcome are shoes that are wearable, fun, with a much-needed sense of humor, given the times…and I think still very elegant!”
The Molly Goddard x UGG collection will release sometime in March 2021.
