bentgablenits Reworks Vintage Carhartt Jackets and Pants for Latest Release
Following its popular range of repurposed Nike goods.
A Toronto-based label known for its reworked vintage items, bentgablenits has now released a series of upcycled Carhartt jackets and pants. The collection follows the trio’s recent pop-up in Selfridges that featured Nike-branded crewnecks and sweatpants.
An array of Detroit Jackets is repurposed with bentgablenits’ signature DIY work on the chest. Crochet flowers and rhinestones adorn the items, along with cowboy graphic patches placed beneath the iconic logo. Fall-ready fabrics like velvet are added onto the collars to add a cozy feel. Meanwhile, the Carpenter Pants see similar motifs throughout, with the Carhartt emblem accentuated with contrasting stitches and sequin flower decorations.
