Take a Closer Look at Rolex's Newest Submariner Watches for 2020
The coveted divers’ watch gets dressed in shades of blue, green and more.
After 12 years, Rolex has finally added new timepieces to its popular lineup of Submariner watches. The latest rollout says goodbye to the green “Hulk” and blue “Smurf” Subs, while welcoming new designs arriving in a slightly larger diameter.
The Submariner is updated with a Cerachrom ceramic “Kermit” version, along with a blue ceramic-black dial white gold iteration. Meanwhile, the Oyster Perpetual Submariner watches come with cases 1mm larger in size. In addition to the outer designs, the timepieces now sport updated movements – the 3230 and 3235 calibers, which allow a 70-hour power reserve. Rounding off the latest launch is the Sky-Dweller, which is paired with an Oysterflex rubber strap previously introduced with Rolex’s sport watches. The timepiece is dressed in yellow gold with a black dial, and Everose gold with a brown dial.
