Bottega Veneta Drops Sustainable Puddle Boot Made of Biodegradable Material
A rainy day must-have.
Bottega Veneta took a chance on the maximalist aesthetic for its Fall/Winter 2020 collection during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year. Among the slew of Daniel Lee‘s new designs revealed on the runway, the fashion house’s Puddle Boot caught the attention of many.
Available in five colorways – “Black,” “Fondant,” “Kiwi,” “Rubber Band” and “Lollipop” – the silhouette arrives in a monobloc chelsea boot-inspired upper and features the fashion house’s signature bulky toe. Made out of biodegradable polymer, the innovative and sustainable footwear piece boasts seamless construction throughout. Finally, the waterproof rain boot comes with a wavy stamped outsole and a cotton lining and nappa footbed.
Take a closer look at all the different iterations in the gallery above. You can now purchase Bottega Veneta’s Puddle Boot online for $650 USD. While you’re here, don’t forget to peep its Resort 2021 collection.
