Seiko Reveals 'Naruto' and 'Boruto'-Themed Watches

Taking inspiration from main characters including Sasuke and Gaara.

Japanese watch brand Seiko is revamping its 5 Sports timepiece with details inspired by popular anime series, Naruto and Boruto. Referencing seven characters including Sasuke and Gaara, the forthcoming collection is set to arrive in various colorways.

The Seiko 5 Sports, known for its durability, debuted back in 1968 and made a grand return last year. The “Naruto” iteration highlights the main character’s iconic Ninja outfit, with an orange hue splashed on the strap and watch face. A metallic bezel and case accompany the design, while the bezel ring represents Naruto’s forehead protector. Meanwhile, the “Boruto” version boasts a spiral pattern in black on the dial, with a vivid pink color accentuating the strap and seconds hand. As for the “Sasuke” timepiece, a deep shade of blue covers the strap, with the character’s signature Jutsu “Chidori” print shown on the dial.

Peep the entire collection above. Priced at $460 USD each, Seiko’s ‘Naruto’ and ‘Boruto’ automatic watches will be landing at the brand’s online store, boutiques and select retailers in December with a limited quantity of 6,500 pieces.
