Tyler, The Creator and Iggy Pop Front Gucci's New Tailoring Campaign

Showcasing Gucci‘s new men’s tailoring collection, legendary director Harmony Korine captures an eccentric trio of creatives — Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky and Iggy Pop — for the brand’s latest campaign. The three musicians model Gucci’s new wares, set against a sprawling, modernist mansion in Los Angeles.
A series of photographs and an accompanying video depicts Iggy Pop in a striking leopard print suit while Tyler, The Creator sports a sweater vest and sleek gold frames. A$AP Rocky models handbags and suiting as Iggy Pop’s pet parrot, Biggy Pop, sits on his shoulder.
“With these campaigns, I am working on different ways of being elegant, and these three men embody this idea perfectly,” said Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele. “I like to tell the story of elegance in completely arbitrary and unexpected ways. Perhaps elegance is something in the air that sometimes you are not even ready for. Male elegance can be unpredictable and strange.”
