Treat Your Pet to Ben & Jerry’s New Doggie Desserts

I “woof” it.

Adding to its range of unusual releases such as space-inspired frozen treats, Ben & Jerry’s is rolling out ice cream for your pet dogs. Your canine companion can now enjoy the brand’s Doggie Desserts.

The pet-friendly snack is made with a sunflower butter base. Each of the two flavors – “Pontch’s Mix” and “Rosie’s Batch” – is named after the company’s real-life office dogs. The former features peanut butter and pretzel swirls, while the latter is packed with creamy pumpkin and mini cookies.

“We know our fans love their dogs and treat them like family. We created this product line so pups can enjoy something even better than belly rubs. Doggie Desserts are the sweetest treat they’ll ever put their paws on,” Ben & Jerry’s Global Marketing Specialist Lindsay Bumps, who is also a certified veterinary technician, shares in a press release.

The Doggie Desserts are available at supermarkets, mass retailers and select pet stores nationwide in mini cups for $2.99 USD and multipacks for $4.99 USD. Ben & Jerry’s has also launched a tie-dye leash, dog bowl and plush toy for your pups, available now online.
