A collection inspired by tarot readings, which are known to have fascinated Monsieur Dior.
Following the K-pop-inspired Pre-Fall 2021 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri is debuting her Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture collection today. The show, teased through a series of videos, takes influence from Monsieur Dior’s strong superstition and the tradition of tarot cards.
In the visuals leading up to the runway, fortune tellers visit Dior’s ateliers for fun and informative tarot readings. Each individual asks about their hopes and concerns such as self-confidence and true love, as the clairvoyant helps decipher the selected cards. Although not much details are known on Chiuri’s new collection, we can definitely expect the designs to feature anything superstitious and spiritual.
