Following the launch of their Spring/Summer 2021 campaign, Luke and Lucie Meier have unveiled their creations for Jil Sander‘s Fall/Winter 2021 season at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. Referencing our longing for privacy and touch, the duo delivers a lineup filled with sharp yet intimate looks.
The collection features a unique color palette including timeless shades like white, navy and burgundy, as well as more seasonal splashes of teal, reddish-brown and pastel pink. Straight and crisp silhouettes dominate the lookbook in the form of double-breasted coats, suits and leather jackets, just to name a few.
In addition to the minimalist designs, select garments are adorned with photographic portraits of female artists of the Bauhaus shot by Florence Henri in the ’20s. The images are sewn onto the back of a coat and a knitted top, serving as an accent to each piece. Elsewhere, models are spotted wearing necklaces featuring “Mother” lettering, which highlights the concept of kinship.
