COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon Sportstyle Launch Technical Collaboration
Arriving in three styles.
First unveiled in the fashion brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 presentation, COMME des GARÇONS‘ footwear collaboration with Salomon Sportstyle is finally here.
The partnership highlights the footwear label’s XA-Alpine and Cross silhouettes. The former — a high-top boot design — comes in black and white iterations, with CdG’s logo stamped onto the laterals. The shoe is equipped with Salomon’s technical elements including a zipper closure on the upper and Contagrip soles. The black colorway offers a minimalistic tonal look, while the white version is contrasted with black detailing.
Meanwhile, the Cross shoe dons a houndstooth-patterned ankle gaiter, which complements the breathable Matryx upper in black. Salomon’s “S” branding is spotted at the toe and on the tongue, and CdG’s logo is printed on the sides.
Currently available at COMME des GARÇONS and Dover Street Market stores worldwide, the COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon Sportstyle XA-Alpine and Cross will receive a wider release on October 28 via DSM’s website.
