Debuted at NYFW, the purse is already loved by celebrities like Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan.

LUAR made its comeback after a two-year hiatus at New York Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2022. Showcased on the Raul Lopez-designed runway, the label’s Ana handbag has become a coveted accessory, having sold out shortly after its drop on Friday.

Already spotted on stars like Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan, the Ana is a vintage-inspired top-handle bag incorporated with a ’80s-style briefcase-like shape. The piece arrives in five colorways — “Black,” “Iridescent,” “Tan Ostrich,” “Blue & White Crocodile” and “Espresso.”

“I was on hiatus for two years. Before, I think I was really just thinking of designing for my friends and trying to prove a point to everyone. My friends are really amazing artists and designers and stylists — they all work in fashion and art,” the Hood By Air co-founder spoke of his comeback with WWD. “I really needed a break to get myself together. I’m done just trying to be an artist. I need to make some money to keep funding myself, so I sat back for two years figuring that out,” he added, revealing a more commercial-focused approach for his brand.
