Tommy Hilfiger x Timberland Unveil Fall 2021 Collab
Drop 2 features more sustainable pieces.
Following the success of their first collaboration, Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland have partnered on a new 48-piece collection, including designs crafted with recycled materials. Demonstrating both brands’ commitment to progress and environmentally responsible consumption, the second drop reintroduces iconic archival pieces, freshly designed with long-lasting and more sustainable materials.
“We wanted to push the boundaries of our iconic archival pieces by intensifying our focus on eco-innovation. This is a big step in our journey to drive innovation and progress in pursuit of a more green and equitable future — one where we strive to not only do less harm, but have a positive impact on nature. We hope to inspire the industry as a whole to work together and move the world forward, ” says Christopher Raeburn, Global Creative Director of Timberland in a press release.
The “TommyXTimberland” range includes classic items like the Lightweight Parka, this time designed with recycled fabric and dyed naturally with typically discarded rice husks. Available in both full-length and a cropped silhouette, the puffer jackets are filled with reused surplus fabric. Meanwhile, the outer sole of the Leather Hiking Boot is made with natural rubber, which means it is not a product of rainforest deforestation and helps protect wildlife.
This collection embodies the brand’s dedication to shaping a better future for the next generations to come. Check out the lookbook above. Prices range from $80 to $499 USD. The “TommyxTimberland” collection is available for purchase on the Tommy Hilfiger website.
