Glow Recipe Forays Into Body Care With Watermelon Glow Pink Dream Body Cream
Lightweight, non-sticky and non-greasy goodness.
Glow Recipe, the K-beauty brand loved for its fruit and vegetable-inspired skincare lines, has now launched its first-ever body care product. The Watermelon Glow Pink Dream Body Cream joins the label’s popular Watermelon family.
Arriving in a minimalist pink bottle, consistent with the label’s previous releases, the body moisturizer features a lightweight formula that works to hydrate and soothe the skin. The product is packed with watermelon extract, watermelon seed butter, hyaluronic acid and hibiscus AHA, which complete a non-sticky and non-greasy finish. The effects of the body care formula have been tested with 32 subjects, who agreed that it helped with moisturizing and getting rid of dry flakes.
“As a body product fanatic, it was the realization of a dream to create this self-care staple,” Lee shared her excitement on Instagram. “I absolutely love the pampering sensation and the sense of accomplishment I feel after applying body creams.” Chang added: “It only made sense to extend the soothing benefits of [watermelon] to body care plus a delicious blend of hydrating and smoothing ingredients. My uber dry skin just drinks this up and I love that it’s not sticky or greasy afterward – just velvety smoothness.”
See the before and after reviews of the moisturizer below. The Watermelon Glow AHA Pink Dream Body Cream retails for $28 USD at Sephora and Glow Recipe’s web store.
