Noah Centineo To Star in Netflix Movie About GameStop Stock Surge
The ‘To All The Boys’ heartthrob will play a “major role” in the currently untitled film.
Netflix is reportedly in talks to make a movie about the GameStop stock saga with Noah Centineo eyed to play a “major role,” according to Deadline.
According to the report, Mark Boal is in negotiations to pen the untitled film, which will explore the Reddit-fueled spike of GameStop stock. Though Netflix declined to comment, sources say the movie will shed light on how social media is allowing the so-called 99 percent to challenge Wall Street and its major hedge funds. So far, it is not clear who Centineo will play — he could star as an outraged Wall Street executive or as Kevin Gill, the ambitious Reddit user leading the GameStop rebellion.
