Noah Centineo To Star in Netflix Movie About GameStop Stock Surge
The ‘To All The Boys’ heartthrob will play a “major role” in the currently untitled film.
According to the report, Mark Boal is in negotiations to pen the untitled film, which will explore the Reddit-fueled spike of GameStop stock. Though Netflix declined to comment, sources say the movie will shed light on how social media is allowing the so-called 99 percent to challenge Wall Street and its major hedge funds. So far, it is not clear who Centineo will play — he could star as an outraged Wall Street executive or as Kevin Gill, the ambitious Reddit user leading the GameStop rebellion.
Stay tuned as details on Netflix’s GameStop stock film unfold. In the meantime, check out the trailer for To All The Boys: Always and Forever, starring Centineo and Lana Condor.
