Nike Takes Inspiration From the Beach for New Air Force 1 Low
Shaggy suede material replicates the look and feel of sand.
Shortly after unveiling a “Popcorn” iteration, Nike is now set to release a beach-inspired version of the Air Force 1 Low. The kicks feature diverse textures and materials to replicate the look and feel of sand.
With white premium leather serving as the base, the upper is revamped with “Coconut Milk” on the Swoosh and additional panels. The butter-like hues and textures are contrasted with shaggy suede material on the mudguard, midfoot panels and heel tabs in a sandy beige color. Elsewhere, the tongue comes in a hemp fabric for that summer-ready look. At the rear, the heel tab is emblazoned with Nike Air logo embroidery, while white cross-stitches run down the shoe. The design is rounded out with the standard white midsoles to balance the overall look.
Take a closer look at the kicks in the gallery above. The beach-inspired Air Force 1 Low will drop via Nike’s online store on February 20 for £104.95 GBP (approximately $143 USD).
