Nike's Blazer Mid '77 Vintage Gets the Buttery "Popcorn" Treatment
A must-have for your spring sneaker lineup.
Earlier this month, Nike dropped its classic Air Force 1 in a popcorn-inspired design. Now, the Swoosh brand is set to release the Blazer Mid ‘77 Vintage silhouette in the same theme.
The sneaker‘s upper is crafted from premium leather and boasts shades of “White” and “Coconut Milk” throughout. Hits of cream hues grace the Swoosh, sole and lacing system, while the rest of the footwear style sports a crisp white color. The cursive slogan “fresh since ‘77” in metallic gold is embroidered onto the lateral’s rear quarter, while the tongue tag comes with an updated take on Nike’s logo. Rounding out the kicks is the red branding on the heel, as well as the gold-tone popcorn pendant that hangs from the eyelets.
Take a closer look at the pair above and below. The Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 Vintage “Popcorn,” priced at €109 EUR (approximately $132 USD), will be available to cop via online retailers like Asphalt Gold on March 9.
