This Hyperrealistic Super Mario-Themed Sushi Is Made of Clay

Prepare to have your mind blown — clay artist Nendozaiker SNAIL has shared a video tutorial revealing the process behind his latest project, a hyperrealistic platter of Super Mario Bros-themed sushi. Made entirely from polymer clay and paint, each piece of nigiri resembles a popular Super Mario character. There’s a piece of Toad-themed salmon, an uni gunkan Goomba and even a Blooper crafted from clay “squid.” Revealed in a 12-minute-long process video, the artist is shown using household items such as tin foil and an X-Acto knife to create lifelike texture and precise shapes.
