Chika Returns With New 6-Track EP 'Once Upon a Time'

Featuring a collab with B.J. The Chicago Kid.

Grammy-nominated artist, activist and actor Chika has returned with her first project of the year. Dubbed Once Upon a Time, the Warner Records-released EP consists of six tracks, including a collaboration with B.J. The Chicago Kid.

The Alabama-native, Los Angeles-based rapper’s laidback beats are complemented by uplifting lyrics and soulful melodies. Centered on the themes of modern intimacy and steps into newfound freedoms in “Fairy Tales” and “Save You,” the EP stays lighthearted with songs like “Cinderella” and “Hickory Dickory.”

Chika is set to perform at the 63rd Grammy Awards this weekend and is also nominated for Best New Artist. Once Upon a Time is now available on all streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
