Millie Bobby Brown x Converse Rework the Chuck Taylor All Star With Elegant Illustrations
In collaboration with 20-year-old Thai artist Pauline Wattanodom.
Millie Bobby Brown and Converse have teamed up once again to rework one of the footwear brand’s classic silhouettes. The Chuck Taylor All Star is set to arrive in new designs created in collaboration with 20-year-old Thai multi-disciplinary artist Pauline Wattanodom, who is also a part of the ongoing Converse All Stars program.
“To me, fashion is such a strong expression of who we are as girls and it does contribute greatly to our sense of identity. Empowered women empower women,” Brown stated in a press release. “The more people empower me, the more I want to empower people. That’s a never-ending cycle of amazing women, like Pauline,” she added.
In just under six months, Wattanodom and Brown conceptualized the upcoming styles in an array of illustrations, materials and spring-ready colorways. Featuring the signature Chuck Taylor All Star and Platform Chuck Taylor All Star, the high tops come in a limited “Millie By You” color palette. Additionally, the sneakers are customizable, which allows customers to explore their creativity and imagination.
Converse’s “Millie By You” collection will drop on March 15 online in North America and Western Europe.
