Di Petsa Embraces Self-Love in FW21 "I am my own Mother" Collection

Highlighting the designer’s signature “wet look.”

Having launched jewelry items for Spring/Summer 2021, rising Greek designer Di Petsa has now unveiled her latest “I am my own Mother” collection for Fall/Winter 2021. Revealed just in time for Paris Fashion Week, the digital presentation spotlights intimacy through the creative’s signature “wet look.”

As seen through previous collections, Petsa continues to explore the idea of motherly love through draped dresses inspired by water and its wetness. The lookbook begins with the designer’s gowns made using a special technology that makes the garments look wet. The theme is followed by top-and-bottom sets.

The collection, which is modeled through a sequence of sensual choreography, expands with abstract digital prints boasting golden hues, while a bra top and skirt reveal parts of the body through sheer material alongside eye-catching embellishments. Asymmetry takes center stage on a series of looks featuring bustier tops, while denim skirts and jeans come with V-shaped pockets at the front.

Watch the digital presentation below. Select pieces from the FW21 collection are now available to shop via Di Petsa’s web store.
