Rising Korean Label JOEGUSH Taps Insta-Famous Cat Morae Park for FW21 Collection
The feline is printed onto punk-inspired styles.
Joining numerous designers showcasing their Fall/Winter 2021 collections online, rising Korean label JOEGUSH has debuted its latest range. Among the punk-inspired looks, the lineup is highlighted with an unexpected collaboration featuring Insta-famous “catfluencer,” Morae Park.
As spotted on both menswear and womenswear items, the feline’s face is printed onto an ivory-colored hoodie, crewneck sweater and white T-shirt. The wardrobe basics are styled with JOEGUSH’s latest designs, which are reinterpretations of archive pieces from the Spring/Summer 2021 season. Focusing on the themes of bondage and punk, pinstripe suits feature raw frayed edges that are additionally adorned with fishnet details.
The lookbook proceeds with statement outerwear items including a patterned puffer jacket with zipper details at the shoulders. More prints are found on T-shirts in trompe l’œil fashion. Elsewhere, relaxed silhouettes arrive in the form of knit sweaters that are layered atop striped tees.
