LIM KIM Releases "MAGO" Music Video With MISCHIEF and Nike for International Women's Day

In celebration of International Women’s Day, K-pop artist LIM KIM has joined forces with Nike and rising fashion label MISCHIEF for a fashion-and-music hybrid project dubbed “MAGO.” Revealed exclusively via HYPEBAE and HYPEBEAST KR, the track and accompanying music video take inspiration from Mago, a mythical figure from Korean folklore.
The visual portrays a powerful image of women, aiming to deliver a message of female empowerment. LIM KIM, a longtime collaborator of MISCHIEF, showcases her signature vocals embraced in previous releases such as “MONG.” Produced by Maalib, the song fuses the singer’s voice with Korean sounds achieved through traditional instruments like the ajaeng, bak and bara.
The MISCHIEF garments captured in the music video will release as part of the “MAGO” collection. The lineup features an organza outerwear design, double-breasted jacket, worker pants, tailored slacks and more. The designs are adorned with orchids, which symbolize elegance and strength. Additional details include dresses, tops and accessories complete with a traditional knot. The items also come with bucket hats and bags that have yet to be revealed.
Watch LIM KIM x MISCHIEF’s “MAGO” music video down above. Proceeds from the T-shirt created by graphic designer Moonsick Gang will go towards supporting underprivileged women. An additional collaborative tee with Nike will be unveiled at a later date.
