Light Up Your Space With Louis Vuitton's Chic Lanterns
Featuring a honeycomb-patterned cage and rechargeable LED light.
Created in collaboration with Treviso-based design studio Zanellato/Bortotto, Louis Vuitton has unveiled new lantern pieces as part of its “Objet Nomade” collection. Arriving in green and red iterations and two different sizes, these products will make the perfect addition to your home.
“A journey east, a summer dinner with friends, a walk on the beach. We imagined this project as a collection of memories woven into a lantern. An intimate and personal object to keep with you to gently illuminate precious moments,” Zanellato/Bortotto said in a press release.
Each lantern comes in a honeycomb-patterned cage made from interwoven strips of Louis Vuitton leather. In the center, you will find a rechargeable LED light and frosted glass bulb. Elsewhere, its design is reminiscent of the fashion house’s handbag silhouettes as it comes with a strap and three brass “feet” that help prevent the base’s leather covering from any damages.
