Liven Up Your Home This Season With Cold Picnic's New Wool Rugs
Graphics inspired by warm summer days.
Following its Ponyo-inspired range, New York-based home brand has now returned with a new set of rugs for the summer season. Available in four iterations, each design is influenced by Bruce Brown’s 1966 film Endless Summer.
Conceptualized and crafted during the wintertime, the hand-tufted wool rugs reference warm summer days and surf culture while reminding everyone to enjoy the things we love. Measuring two feet wide and six feet long, “The Perfect Weave” sports warm hues of orange and beige reminiscent of the sand. “Follow the Summer Around the World,” “Summer is a Feeling” and “Endless Summer” come in three different size options, boasting abstract patterns with a muted color palette to add balance to your space.
Peep the designs above. The “Summer is a Feeling” collection is now available online with prices ranging from $135 USD to $230 USD. Part of the proceeds will go towards organizations such as the Black Surfing Association, Black Girls Surf and Laru Beya Collective as an effort to make surfing more accessible to underrepresented individuals.
