Nike Gives Its Dunk Low the "NY vs NY" Treatment
In honor of the city’s major high school basketball tournaments.
For its latest rework of the Dunk Low, Nike has given its popular silhouette a “NY vs NY” makeover, which is the Swoosh’s ongoing footwear series that honors NYC‘s major high school basketball tournaments played around the city.
At first glance, the striking orange Swoosh will catch your attention, along with the matching “NY vs NY” logo embroidered near the rear. Elsewhere, the collars, quarter paneling and toe boxes are dressed in an olive green hue, while the surrounding overlays come in white. The transparent outsole rounds out the design, which features the locations of the tournaments such as Dyckman Park, West 4th, Watson, Lincoln Park, Tristate and Gersh Park.
Nike’s Dunk Low “NY vs NY” has yet to receive an official price point and release date. However, reports state the pair might drop in the coming months.
