From new Casetify phone case collaborations to a Uniqlo anime team-up.
It’s an eventful week for collaborations — over the next several days, some of our favorite apparel and accessories brands will drop team-ups ranging from co-branded footwear to collaborative Ziploc bags.
One of this week’s more unorthodox drops, famed gourmet grocery store Dean & DeLuca — which filed for bankruptcy last April — joined forces with BEAMS to revamp the humble Ziploc freezer bag. A collaboration you can actually wear, Japanese footwear brand Hender Scheme will release a range of hiking shoes, sandals and backpacks with The North Face. If you’re looking to revamp your smartphone, Casetify has two joint projects launching this week: a collection of phone cases designed with LINE FRIENDS and a second lineup of tech accessories produced with the NBA.

LINE FRIENDS, a series of characters based on stickers used in messaging app LINE, brings its cast of adorable cartoon animals to Casetify phone cases. AirPods cases, grip stands and UV phone sanitizers are also decorated with the franchise’s playful hit figures including Brown, Leonard and Choco.

Dean & DeLuca might be closed, but that isn’t stopping the famed gourmet grocery store from teaming up with BEAMS for a second line of collaborative Ziploc bags. The duo introduce a series of three silver zippered totes for storing and carrying groceries — they’re even printed with the Dean & DeLuca logo.

Nike‘s latest running shoe, the Air Zoom Pegasus 38 is optimized for speed and comfort. Made of lightweight mesh, the sneaker features a mid-foot webbing system for a closer fit. For extra cushioning, Nike React foam and a Zoom Air unit are embedded into the forefoot.

Merging their aesthetics, Hender Scheme and The North Face will release a co-branded hiking shoe and TEVA-like sandal. The former is a lug-soled silhouette with a fitted sock liner, while the latter features adjustable leather straps and an EVA sole. The pair will also drop a leather-accented backpack and travel kit.
