Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Introduce Latest GEL-Kayano 27 DE Collab

Following their recent team-up last month, Vivienne Westwood and ASICS have joined forces once again to rework the GEL-Kayano 27 DE shoe. The new kicks add to the duo’s ongoing partnership featuring the likes of the fishnet-covered GEL-Kayano 26 and the GEL-Mai.
Channeling Westwood’s DIY aesthetic and deconstructive style, the kicks sport co-branded details throughout. Arriving in “White/Lichen Rock” and “Liche Green/Brown,” the design is dressed in a breathable mesh upper with contrasting prints and overlays. ASICS’ branding takes over the sides with Westwood’s orb motif printed on the laterals, while “V. Westwood” lettering is printed along the grooves. Elsewhere, the shoes maintain their technical look with the structured midsole that features DYNAMIC DUOMAX™ technology designed for stability. Highlighting the collaborative footwear style is the disappearing netting detail found wrapping the shoe.
