Meet THE SERIES, the Slow Fashion Label Loved for Its Crochet and Patchwork Designs

Sustainable garments made using pre-existing materials only.

THE SERIES is a New York-based fashion label that makes one-of-a-kind genderless pieces using pre-existing materials. The sustainable brand has recently launched its Spring 2021 offerings boasting patchwork and crochet details.

The rising label was founded by Ella Wiznia in 2016 as she realized the impact that images of unrealistic bodies had on society. Learning more about the environmental issues caused by the fashion industry, Ella began using pre-existing materials to make clothes that are designed for all beings.

The seasonless garments arrive in the form of dresses, tank tops, pants and more. The Daisy line features a selection of designs with repeated daisy-shaped crochet patterns throughout, while a similar theme is found on the Granny dress, pants and shorts. Elsewhere, jeans are reworked with patchwork details, while everyday shirts are crafted using quilted bits of fabric.

Take a closer look above. You can head over to THE SERIES’ web store to get your hands on the latest items.
