Martine Rose Reimagines Classic Logos in “Beermat” SS21 Collection

Combining beer and streetwear.

British designer Martine Rose has returned with a beer-inspired collection ahead of summer, reworking design cues that have appeared in previous releases and in a collaboration with Stüssy.

First introduced for the Fall/Winter 2018 season, the “Beermat” theme has been reimagined across a series of T-shirts, hoodies, shirts, pants and shorts. An all-over print takes inspiration from various beer brands, using their motifs to create vibrant, eye-catching graphics. In contrast, the capsule also boasts a selection of black-and-white offerings that feature a single Martine Rose beer mat, creating a more minimal look, while other pieces see an imprint of a slogan reading “Expect Perfection.” Accessories from the range include a scarf and belt, that also feature the same all-over pattern.

Check out some of the offerings in the gallery above. The full collection is now available on Martine Rose’s website.
