ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov Debut New FB10S GEL-PRELEUS Silhouette
Continuing their ongoing collaboration.
ASICS has unveiled a new addition to its womenswear collection, the FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS. Designed by Laura and Deanna Fanning for the Kiko Kostadinov Studio, the model is an update to the earlier GEL-PRELEUS and has been reimagined to create an evocative, retro-futuristic silhouette.
The upper is dressed in multi-layered mesh and leather paneling that is accentuated by dynamic curves and moulded to evoke femininity, while the ASICS-exclusive GEL tooling rounds off the sneaker’s unique aesthetic. The pairing arrives in two colorways: “Metropolis/Carrier Gray” and “Pink Rave/Olive Canvas.”
Speaking about the design inspiration, Laura and Deanna Fanning explained, “The inferred speed from the dynamic curved line in side profile and tooling inspired us to facilitate the development of this archive style for women. The [GELTM] Preleus offers depth and height in the arch of the heel that was a great contrast in consideration of the diversity of ASICS Styles for women.”
