DOS SWIM Taps Paloma Elsesser for Inclusive "Heat Wave" Collection
Bikinis and one-pieces for the outdoors.
New York-based label DOS SWIM has joined forces with Paloma Elsesser for a collection of inclusive swimsuits.
Focusing on body positivity, the “Heat Wave” collection arrives with sizing from XS to 3XL. “While the swimwear industry has exploded in the last two years, it did feel like there was a decline in swimwear that was cool and passable and chunky-girl-friendly,” Elsesser commented on the range. DOS SWIM’s founders Shay Johnson and Paula Hess added: “This was a true collaboration like we picked out everything together. Paloma was super involved like she didn’t just flap her name on something in the collaboration is special because we are friends and after coming out of a time where you weren’t able to see friends and family.”
The range features a variety of bikini tops and bottoms with prints and colors including fiery “Rojo Alicante,” tropical “Arkose” and khaki green “Lithic.” Those looking for one-pieces and cover-up skirts can look to the Saba swimsuit in “Malachite,” or the Tandem Skirt in “Juparaña.” Each piece can be worn to the beach, the swimming pool or on hikes.
