BLACKPINK-Themed Cosmetic Items Are Coming to 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS'
Including emotes, weapons and outfits inspired by each member.
BLACKPINK, the K-pop sensation formed by Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, is collaborating with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on an in-game event and a series of exclusive thematic elements.
The special event, slated for August 18-September 7, will allow players to participate in various in-game event missions. Points earned can be used to redeem BLACKPINK-themed cosmetic items, as well as Contraband coupons. Those who aren’t able to complete the missions, don’t fret — 35 exclusive items, including cosmetic bundles inspired by each of BLACKPINK’s members, will be available for purchase starting August 4 until the end of 2021. The bundles feature different themed hairstyles, nameplates, helmets, weapons, emotes and even the group’s stage costumes.
Taking the collaboration to the next level, a number of BLACKPINK-themed elements will be applied to the maps in the battle royale game. These elements, including building decals, plane banners, and thematic changes to supply crates and LV.3 helmets, will be available from August 4-September 7 on PC, and August 12-September 15 on consoles.
